Cheapest brand/option?

For someone looking to save, what would be considered the cheapest home EV charging setup?

Not including solar panels as those add to the overall cost even though they save money long-term. I am talking about just for the charging unit.

I am not quite sure. A friend has a zappi EV charger which he swears by but I am fairly certain it is not considered cheap. I think it will run you £700+.

I tried to save money by going with a Blink model. I believe I paid around $400. I kind of regret going with the cheapest option, though. It doesn't have much oomph. I had to get in the habit of plugging it up overnight to charge, instead of thinking I could do it in an hour or two. It gets the job done, though.

Do you know if that is available in the UK? I can look at the reviews if so. I had not heard of this one before. Maybe it is a newer brand/model?

@SammyD, it is available in the UK, but I'm shocked by the price difference. Here's one for sale on Amazon, but maybe you could find it cheaper elsewhere.
