Anyone have any recommendations for the best home electric plan / business for charging an electric vehicle? I'm wondering if, in light of the recent price hike, there is a reasonable strategy in place that provides lower overnight rates.

This really depends on where you live. Most standard homes in the UK do just fine with standard EV home charging units and they will end up paying roughly £2 to £50 more in electricity but they are saving on petrol by a larger margin.

It depends on so many different factors. What general area are you located in? I might be able to look into it for you a bit more.
