Electric bikes

I like to watch Let's Make a Deal on weekday mornings before starting work. I keep seeing electric bikes as a prize on the show, and it has me interested. Does anyone here ride an electric bike? Are they useful or more of a novelty?

I can't say that I've ever ridden one, but they sure sound nifty. If you're interested, check with your employer to see if they offer a green incentive of some sort. There's not enough parking where I work, so my boss gives money towards ebikes, bus tickets, and the like.

That's a great idea! On the lower end of the spectrum, the bikes run about a grand, so your tip could definitely come in handy.
