Another brand is making the move to be fully electric and only provide electric vehicles. I would imagine they will be getting rid of their hybrid models as well if they still do those.

I am not surprised by this. I think a lot of brands will carry out this trend and we will only see a handful still making petrol vehicles come 2030.
 
I would wager that half of all car companies will be fully electric by 2030. I think we will still have petrol options but they will only be more expensive options and considered a luxury experience, not something you drive around in for work or anything.

That makes sense. I mean we will still need to rely on it for planes and cargo ships. There is no solution or way around that yet.

It makes sense to only have high-end cars with a petrol option in the future.

A lot of people are concerned about that though as they can easily hike up electric prices and we may end up paying more in the long run because of that. We need to make sure our politicians put things in place to protect us from that.
 
Good for Renault! There seems to be such a big push to make this happen among several car manufacturers. Maybe we'll see lower prices in the near future.
