All outlanders in the UK from 2016 now have an 8 year battery warranty. This may been old news but it's new to me so thought I'd post it anayway. More info can be found on the Mitsubishi website but here's a quote

"The traction battery on the Outlander PHEV comes with a warranty of 8 Years / 100,000 miles. This includes a guarantee that if the traction battery capacity falls below 70% in the first 8 years/100,000 miles a free repair or replacement will be provided."

This is great news for anyone worried about their battery capacity or for those interested in buying an older PHEV.

I think I will be needing to evoked my warranty - could you please direct me to where this information is provided?
I have a 2016 PHEV which has done just over 60K miles.

If I am not mistaken, this seems a bit longer than standard warranties. I hope they continue to increase them because the batteries are not cheap to replace from what I hear.
