Kona

For what you get, the price point seems fair. I just wish a lot of the newer models with the better batteries and charging capabilities weren't this expensive.

They want us to all switch over but so many families can't afford this. I am glad more and more people are making the switch. I have an older EV I purchased from a co-worker so I want to get a new one but because of the prices, I want to be 1000% sure. This one did stand out to me. Does anyone own one here?

I always liked Hyundai vehicles. They seem to be built to last unlike many other car makers out there. That being said, I would be curious about parts and repair costs. It seems like they tend to use more expensive batteries and parts, even on their cheaper models.

I am not sure how much parts and repairs are in general but these is an estimation I found online:

A Hyundai Kona will cost about $7,871 for maintenance and repairs during its first 10 years of service.
That is not too bad, it would be roughly £6,471 based on this estimate. Still, that is an additional charge over the £28k+ price tag.

This beats the industry average for popular SUV models by $1,262. There is also a 23.97% chance that a Kona will require a major repair during that time.

The prices and general costs are in USD but are likely to be similar in cost to currency.
