I ran across an interesting article that lays out the average costs of charging and owning an electric vehicle. It looks like we're better off than gas-powered vehicle owners, at least for now. Take a look.
It's a nice thought to think we're coming out on top, but we're fairly limited to buying new EVs. We'd save more if we could buy used, which is common with gas-powered vehicles.
There are tax incentives and rebates that are on offer again. Plus, many new EVs come with charging incentives as well. These make a big difference in the overall cost.
