What month is the best time to buy?

I am not sure if I should buy now, or wait.

Some people told me to wait until the newest models come out in the fall so I can get the best deal on a 2022 EV model. Does this really impact the cost all that much?

Some say October, others say May.

I think for new cars, October is the better month as dealers are trying to sell old stock and are more likely to accept deals and offers.

I agree about the fall being the best time. Even for used cars. Dealers want to move their inventory out for newer models and such.

I think this fall, things might be a bit pricey though if shortages continue.
