Will we see full EV charging stations as we have for petrol?

Something that most areas have these days are "gas stations" but I have never seen a charging station set up quite like those.

I feel like they need to move in this direction. We need to have charging stations where we can pop into a small shop for little items and whatnot.

This would normalize EV driving as well and give people more incentive to buy them.

I was wondering this but as much as people demand for more public EV chargers, not much is being done about it. I see the most near big city areas and not much elsewhere. Maybe the electric grids can't handle them yet?

They have them in some areas but they are just platforms. They don't actually have physical stores. I think they are trying to pull away from that. I am not sure why. Maybe they just want everything to be digital and people to buy as much as possible online?

That is part of the charm though. I would love to see little shops with these places, even a coffee shop of sorts so whilst you are waiting, you can get a coffee, tea or have lunch instead of waiting for 20+min just sitting in your car.

That is actually a fantastic idea! They could even put them in parking lots for fast-food places. Allow people to charge whilst they eat lunch. Does anyone do that right now?
